We supply personnel who sit, follow, watch and record how the workplace is used providing a detailed analysis of actual work and location.  This information is used to draw departmental comparisons and create an environment that closely matches the needs of each department.

We also conduct staff and visitor surveys to gain feedback and to ensure the process is inclusive and the views of your staff are represented in the final solution. The key benefits of this work is to provide space that better fits the current business and delivers increased efficiency and space utilization.  This exercise should be repeated every 12 months to check that the space continues to deliver these key benefits.

We take a logical approach to the space planning process based on the research and your inputs.  Working to best work practice standards we produce a series of plans that reflect your companies work style. We work with you to agree space standards for the different work settings and then use these templates to produce blocking plans that depict personal, team and shared spaces. This process plans in future flexibility defining primary circulation and areas reliant on fixed building services.  We are then able to plan adaptable work settings around these areas.

Once this is agreed we move onto place people within the space taking into account department adjacencies and  storage requirements. We progressively add more detail highlighting areas of solid and glazed walls, door apertures, staff amenity areas and copy points.  We start to look at the control of the public and staff through the space from a security and safety stand point.

The quality of your environment has a direct effect on you and your staff.  A well designed workplace has the potential to increase efficiency and can have a positive effect in retaining staff and recruiting others.  Your interior reflects the value you place on your staff and sends out strong messages to your clients. As part of the design process we will generate plans and sketch visuals along with sample boards and organise show suites for you to ‘test drive'. We are able to prepare a computer animated walk through to explain the space in more detail.  We can arrange visits to potential suppliers to asses products and instil confidence in your purchasing decisions.  We maintain good relationships with passed clients and can arrange site visits to see our interiors in action.
